Our Story
Valentino’s Roots built on Long Time Friendship
Valentino’s Pizza was founded in 1985 in Michigan by lifelong friends Tony and Alex, whose restaurant backgrounds and passion for great food helped create the foundation for the business. Named after Tony’s uncle and inspired by actor Rudolph Valentino, the restaurant quickly became known for its fresh ingredients, quality recipes, and welcoming atmosphere.
After moving more than 2,000 miles to California, Tony and Alex opened Valentino’s in Long Beach, building the business from the ground up. Their dedicated team, including employees who have been with them for decades, has played a key role in the restaurant’s success and reputation for outstanding customer service.
Today, Valentino’s Pizza Naples is a Long Beach favorite, serving signature pizzas made with real Pecorino Romano cheese, authentic Italian pizza sauce, fresh produce, and handmade dough prepared daily. Popular specialties like the Greek Pizza, Pesto Pizza, Super Pizza, and Meat Lover’s Pizza continue to attract loyal customers. In addition to pizza, guests enjoy a variety of appetizers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, salads, wings, and desserts. With a commitment to quality, consistency, and community, Valentino’s remains a go-to destination for families, local businesses, and visitors looking for a delicious meal in a friendly setting.
